Freshly out of the production house, our new mini-review “Secondary Bacterial Infections in Patients With Viral Pneumonia” is published as part of the section: Infectious Diseases – Surveillance, Prevention and Treatment in Frontiers in Medicine. Focusing on secondary bacterial infections, we look at the clinical data and treatment options during pulmonary viral infections. Since the first Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak in 2003, we compare the available data with MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV2.
Congratulations to all the authors!
