Microfluidic methods are powerful techniques for life science research. In this project, we will establish a microfluidic platform at the ZJE to investigate aspects of antimicrobial evolution, single cell variation, phage-bacteria interaction and many others. In addition to the PIs in Edinburgh, many other groups will contribute to the individual research projects, including Prof. Mark Butala and Prof. Huan Hu, both from the ZJU- University of Illinois – Institute (ZJUI).
