My main research interests cover bacteriophage, bacteria, and the human immune system. Specifically, I am interested in how the bacteriophages benefit bacterial life, such as phage and antibiotic resistance, motility, adhesion, and quorum sensing. And whether these benefits can extent to human diseases or whether they have any effects on the human immune responses. My current project is focused on the structure of the filamentous phage coat proteins, and their function during the infection process.
