Benzene took on the task to study phage-bacteria dynamics under a simulated setting of phage therapy, in a patient that suffers from a bacterial infection caused by a multi-drug resistant pathogen. There are so many factors one has to consider when modelling the course of phage therapy, with the occurrence of phage-resistant mutants just being one of them!
