I am excited to share that I am actively contributing to the development of the first official guidelines for phage therapy in Germany as part of the AWMF (Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany) guideline working group.
This initiative represents a major step forward in integrating phage therapy into clinical practice, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations for its application in treating bacterial infections, particularly those caused by multi-drug-resistant pathogens. These guidelines will serve as a critical resource for healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers, paving the way for a standardized and effective use of phage therapy in Germany.
