Our study, “A Lysozyme Murein Hydrolase with Broad-Spectrum Antibacterial Activity from Enterobacter Phage myPSH1140,” has just been published in Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy. We characterized a peptidoglycan hydrolase from an Enterobacter phage, demonstrating its strong antibacterial activity against multidrug-resistant Gram-negative pathogens like E. cloacae, K. pneumoniae, and A. baumannii in vitro and in vivo!
Special thanks to Prasanth Manohar for his major role in this work and to the entire team, especially Ramesh, for the excellent collaboration.
