We are delighted to announce that Dr. Prasanth Manohar, our now former postdoctoral researcher, has secured a position at the renowned Center for Phage Technology (CPT) at Texas A&M University. Dr. Manohar’s expertise in bacteriophage biology, phage therapy, and antibiotic resistance will be a valuable addition to CPT’s mission of advancing phage research and its applications in health, industry, and agriculture.

At CPT, Dr. Manohar will collaborate with leading scientists to further explore phage biology, focusing on molecular mechanisms of phage lysis and the development of phage-based therapeutics. His research aligns with CPT’s commitment to harnessing bacteriophages to combat antibiotic-resistant bacteria and improve public health outcomes.

Dr. Manohar’s dedication to phage research is evident through his numerous publications and active engagement with the scientific community. His personal website, PHAGElogist, reflects his passion for “good viruses” and serves as a platform to share insights on phage biology and therapy.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Manohar on this significant achievement and look forward to witnessing his continued contributions to the field of phage technology at Texas A&M University.
